ANIMAL CARETAKER
St. Francis Animal Shelter is a small, no kill, non-profit shelter established over 20 years ago in Buffalo, Wyo. We are looking to fill two, part time animal caretaker positions. Animal caretakers are responsible for caring for both cats and dogs. This includes, but is not limited to, the feeding of animals in accordance with their special dietary needs, scooping litter pans, cleaning and disinfecting kennels, maintaining established sanitation protocols, administering medication as directed by our veterinarian, the enrichment, grooming and exercise of shelter animals, laundry, general janitorial duties, working with volunteers, assisting potential adopters, and lawn care. Applicants must LOVE animals, be kind, patient, hard working, able to lift 30 pounds, and be available to work mornings and weekends, approximately 25 hours per week.
